    and may I say Hoo.
The pair of RD400D silencers I scored offline from an eBayer for £60+P&P
arrived. As promised the right hand side is almost completely unmarked,
couple of little dings near the spindle recess. 30 mins with solvol and
grade blue on the polishing mop had it looking very shiny and
presentable. The old unit had been down the road.

My existing left unit is pretty much undamaged. So what I don't know is
how/where I get these pin dents filled and the units triple-rechromed
and polished up as new? I am guessing someone must specialize in this
    kind of recovery?

  2. Collins Chemical Blacking near the Chateau does.

Be warned that chromers *hate* two-stroke systems because of the danger
of oil contamination of the chroming tanks.

They can fill in the dings with braze or some such as well?
I'm sure I can move out all the 2smoke oil with a suitable chemical!
