Eh? This was PC, right? He has even less of a weight issue than you.

    I think so
Till you have to hit the brakes hard in the wet. They seem very good in
    rain

Course I have only done a couple of hundred road miles on them so this
    is 1st impressions

  4. Just read about that on the XX website. Didn't know you'd had a
Blackbird though. Not *you* I wouldn't have thought.

    Tinnies? Stubbies, Shirley.

I'm a bit concerned that we've not had a turnip update recently.

  6. Turnip? TURNIP? Don't you call my swedes turnips. I'll take some photos
tomorrow. Although, I've already eaten 2 of them. Not photos, swedes.

Where the hell would this ng be without my input?

he's a married man - now he's settled down he needs a sensible bike
more suited to the sort of guy who likes the quiet life, is thinking
about taking up pipe smoking, and likes to potter around in the garden
    shed.

I get that effect with BT45s on the Guzzi's front.

Same effect on the R100 and K1100 with Metzelers and the BT45's but in
    the middle section

Difficult to describe the effect, almost jagged chamfering IYSWIM.

I don't know what causes it. The Guzzi's a bit heavy on tyres as only I
get ~3500 miles out of a rear [1] and about 6000 from a front.

We're not talking Hyabusa performance from either the bike or tyre for
that matter. Bit of a mystery really.

[1] The last rear made 3008 miles from new to sub 1mm this one's overdue
for replacement with 3500 on it. I probably get more from one over
    winter.

The K1100 was similarly heavy on it's BT45's. New front every second
    rear.
