I want to purchase some automotive 'lectrical cable, like. Can I find 'owt on the web? Can I buggery... Used to be that one'd pop down one's local auto factors and say "sell me some of your finest 10amp cable, stout yeoman" or suchlike and he'd respond with "{sniff} 'Ow much?" to which you'd inform him. "twelvety-nine feet, please." "Wot colour?" "Sky-blue pink, ta". And so the transaction would be completed. I've just checked out Maplins web site and then, having not seen anything suitable there, tried RS components. Not very helpful, either of them. So just where the buggery bollocks does one go for this sort of shite? Relays. I'll need relays, too... -- | Wik -UKRMHRC#10- 2003 R1150GSA -DC#1 -'FOT#0 'FOF #39 - BOD#12 BOB#12 |# You don't believe me | "Experience is the worst teacher. |That the scenery | It always gives the test first |Could be a cold-blooded killer. | and the instruction afterward." ***** human response from wik at blueyonder dot co dot uk *****
Have you tried CPC? www.cpc.co.uk If they have what you want, I can pick some up and post if you want as they're walking distance from my office.

Our local car doing always seems to have this sort of stuff, however, from the back of CMC: Vehicle Wiring Products 9 Buxton Court Manners Ind Est Ilkeston Derbys DE7 8EF (0115) 9305454 Ph (0115) 9440101 Fx They'll send you a catalogue. No web presence, afaict.
Salad Dodger was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever: They do have one - their whole catalogue is online. Can't be arsed to google for it atm though.
I always get relays from the car breakers down the road. Fords have good quality relays and they cost a fraction of the shop price. You can also stuff a few spares into your pockets ;-)

Nope... [browses] Hmm, similar difficulty to the other web-based vendors; fine if you want 100m of the stuff. Trouble is, I don't.
