WinXP SP2 oddity?

    *sigh*

    Just pointing out that it turns the firewall back
    on if you run it. Why does it do that? **** knows,
    but for all you "Holier Than Thou" cunts out there
    that say "well just turn off the firewall", it's
    not *that* simple, is it!

  4. I don't understand why you had to run the wizard again;
    all my settings work perfectly before I used SP2, and
    continued to do so after installing SP2.

    I've got a holier than thou attitude to the wizard
    because it didn't do what i want, so I just set up
    the connection to my work myself...

    Right click my network places>properties
    Select you connenction, right click>properties
    Select TCP/IP > properties

    Domain / workgroup / PC anme settings form my computer
    properties>identification

    don't use the workgroup concept.
