Choose to end it all sitting in a nursing home pissing yourself while
those selfish bastards you spawned to replace yourself go on holidays to
the Bahamas. (or something like that)

    Nice thick jumper under jacket.
Make sure jacket is waterproof and large enough to have junper and
possibly bodywarmer underneath without movement being restricted.
    Cold-buff or neoprene thingy equivalent.
HG Pathan gloves and or heated grips.
Thermal undies or wooly tights, stockings are more fun but not so
    practical.
Invest in a pair of oversized winter gore tex trousers to wear over
    your normal leather ones.
Wooly socks and thermal insoles for yer footsies.
Visor demist spray or soapy stuff - see other posts.
    Handle bar muffs.
Bar of Kendal mint cake or flap jack, in case you break down and have
    to wait a bit.
Off-cut of sheepskin (when not in use, leave over radiator in hallway)
to put on bike seat on cold mornings, you do not want piles! Get
sheepskin from charity shop or e-mail me.

    Good luck...

But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose
life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who
needs reasons when you work for a global outsourcing company.

Tyres made of rubber are good. What bike have you got then?

Right, so you reckon you'll be changing to a set of winter tyres any day
    now?

  14. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "platypus"
Studs, I think. The gold 3/8" ones.

That's the way it works here, Chris. The sheer volume of posts on
this group is the reason that we like posts to be formatted properly,
so that they can be read quickly and easily - there isn't time
otherwise. It is nice when posts are easily comprehensible and
    written in normal English, too.

New legs, eh? What was the matter with the old ones?
He'd better change the suspension to winter settings too, then.

And fit the fairing. And shaft drive. Hmm. A nice aircooled flat-twin
engine would be good, too - low CofG whilst wobbling across the ice.

I don't think that a full fairing is required for the British Winter.
Leg shields would be nice, to keep the slush off your shins and the
salt off your boots, but that's about all.
Again, not an absolute requirement. Modification to a fully-enclosed
chaincase would be well within the scope of any competent DIY-er I
would think. Best to use a decent multigrade in there though, or even
getting off the drive might prove difficult when the temperature drops
    a bit.
Absolutely. Aircooled engines have so much less to worry about in
cold conditions. The C0fG issue is real as well, so I'll grant you
this point - do BMW still sell those natty cylinder head fitted
castors, that come in so handy when lean angles get a bit extreme?
    You must be selling one.

Okay, leg shields. I'd like a screen, too.
Fully-enclosed is good. But you've just talked yourself into a C90...
No need: replacement valve covers are cheap as chips.
No, I'm thinking about fixing it up.
