No, actually. There is something else that the Finch and I are
examining, though. There may be a need of your skills as well.

I can recommend Icebraker kit. Expensive but worth it. [1]

[1] Pure Merino wool - very thin too.

But I know I'll be cold in leather. I mean I get cold in June in leather.

That sounds useful. I am off to northern Canada soon and it'll be

I've done 3 winters for various reasons. It's always been bearable, but
I figure this time I'm going to do it right.

    How fucking much?

You could buy a SO diesel cage and run it all winter for less than
    decent winter kit costs.

I have trouble drying stuff out in time for the following day. I don't
like to stick it on a radiator, because I have a folk-belief from
somewhere that it'll damage the liner. If you're saying that's wrong
then I have learnt something, and happily concede the argument.
I absolutely agree with respect to fairings <points to .sig>, but I've
never made bar-muffs work for me. They always seem to interfere with the
    levers..

    <sits at burnt's feet>

Have you more wisdom to share master? How can these things known as 'bar
muffs' be made to work well?

Well, I tend to just hang it up and let it drip dry. That's about all
it needs really. The boots are generally fine but I put newspaper in
them if they are a little damp.
I just put 'em on. I've not noticed them interfering with levers but
I've only been using them on K100s/K75s. Maybe it's something to do
    with the lever design?
