Wing mirrors on track days

Do they have to be removed or can I just tape them up. Similarly,
stupid question I know, but do you use to tape things?

yes, though I tend to remove mine (takes about 5 minutes on and off)

asuming there's a "what" missing from the above, tape. Insulation tape
is good. Or masking tape.

I'd remove them - one less thing to worry about if you sling it. I
used duct tape, and did lights and speedo too.

 

Ok, that seems to fit with what a lot of people have said. Thanks for
the input everyone.

 

I keep 'em usable, 'cos I ride with the novices and some are really
novice. I've had to replace one mirror when I binned it, but a couple
of times they've saved me from moving in on some scrote coming up the
inside.
