yes, though I tend to remove mine (takes about 5 minutes on and off)
asuming there's a "what" missing from the above, tape. Insulation tape
    is good. Or masking tape.
ID might be bollocks, but it's at least less bollocks than straight
    creationism.

Are you back or have you been arrested by Stalinist republicans and are
currently exercising your last wish to post to Usenet before being
    executed as Trotskyist social reactionary?

I didn't do either in my last track day. It was quite useful,
actually - I could see whether Daz was keeping up OK.

Mirrors, pah, I was doing lifesavers into the hairpin.

Got told off for that I did :)

    Back.

Spain is full of commies. Except the bike cops[1] who still go for the
    shaven head and jackboots look.

What's up with those sites, BTW? Need any input? I notice the holding
pages I put there have been "disappeared"...

[1] the real ones, not the inner-city plebs[2]
[2] I saw one poor sod in Valencia in full jackboot/open-face
    lid/mirror-aviators look on a fully-faired Yamaha XS650...

I'd remove them - one less thing to worry about if you sling it. I
used duct tape, and did lights and speedo too.

Ok, that seems to fit with what a lot of people have said. Thanks for
    the input everyone.

I keep 'em usable, 'cos I ride with the novices and some are really
novice. I've had to replace one mirror when I binned it, but a couple
of times they've saved me from moving in on some scrote coming up the
    inside.
