Man O Man that wind was something. I rode 210 miles today in it and I think
my tires look like I have been riding in the twisties.

thanks, got some limited seat time today (my weekend with the kids).
bought if from a dealer that had it on consignment, i think the seller
took it up the wazoo on the deal. apparently it had been sitting a
while, so it has a fresh rebuilt on the carbs, rebuild master cylinder,
new slave cylinder, new tires, new fork seals, new front brakes from
being soaked by the leaking fork seal, and today they changed out the
fuel cutoff diaphragm. hopefully all the dead rubber parts are done
breaking for a while, but i'll be on the lookout for leaks!

thanks louie (yeah, i'm stomping on redshad's post). i hope that 15
degree angle i rode at on the straights today isn't a ride
    characteristic of the new bike.

Didn't we have a new Concours owner here a while back
that picked up the bike from the dealer and discovered
after many miles that the driveshaft/read end had no oil.

I know I didn't dream that, but it could have been from
    another MC group.
