Will we see a Brit win in BSB this season ?

Kiyonari took a double win at the Silverstone BSB meeting. So after
six races there have been no British winners, and the top two in the
Championship are from abroad. So will we see a British winner this
year ? Not that it really matters as long as the racing is good, just
thought I'd raise it as a talking point.

    Cheers,

TBH I am sick of ITV's pro-Brit bias on their coverage. James
Cracknell needs to sort his manners to our foreign guests. BSB's rep
as the best domestic series is largely down to it welcoming overseas
    riders down the years.

Rea and Haslam almost certainly. Camier maybe. Not sure about Walker
and Byrne. The Suzuki seems a bit off the pace at the moment (as it
was last season). And Byrne seems to be making a lot of mistakes right
    now.

    Cheers

.... BSB's rep as the best domestic series ...

As well as stretching just a bit...

Yeah well, probably not! How 'bout "one of" for diplomacy's sake?

Probably a little more accurate, if not somewhat indicative of a narrow
horizon and btw, the sour flower thing was a quote of an old English King,
which may show as much as things change, they remain the same, or not...

Don't blame me (except for being a tightwad mayeb) but if AMA and
other series were on free UK TV I would be watching it. After all I
do "watch" the NASCAR racing - rather I have it on in the background
and look up / rewind on the odd occasion I hear that something
    interesting has happened.

    After all I
OMG, NASTYCAR? That's a little more information than I needed! :)
Heh, to bad you couldn't have seen the Fontana SSport race, Bond's boi
Davies was "welcomed" to the states DT style by Nicky's little brother, he
was "nudged"and then immediately flipped off, great stuff!

The kid made a run up into a corner on the outside, not quite far enough to
close the door, but tried anyway. Rog got on the gas and Davies was punted
out, then he almost immediately flipped Davies off, as in, getdafukouttahere
rookie, this is serious bidness. It was just a little drama in a race that
was red flagged and restarted 4 times, but IMO great stuff nonetheless. It's
early still and the kid's got game, he'll learn...

Dirt track, but in this case, flat track is prolly a little more
appropriate, as they definitely traded paint and Rog was in a semi-brodie...
