Does anybody know what one would have to do if they wanted to put a wid
    glide triple tree on their V-Star? I've got a V-Star 1100 and I'
wondering how hard it would be to put a harley wide-glide style fron
end on the bike. I've got a set of aftermarket wide-glide triple tree
(along with forks, fender, wheel, headlight, etc...) layin around and
don't really want to pay $700+ for a triple tree kit.

After looking at the neck on the V-Star I'm somewhat confused as to ho
I should proceed. I don't know if I should pull the V-Star races an
then try to find some Harley frame cups that'll fit in there, or mayb
different bearings and races... I've no experience with that stuff..
so any help would be appreciated
