Then they had a track day.

And managed to find a collection of complete berks to interview.

"I've got a race hump, no I don't know why, it looks good or something"

Maybe it's just me, but impressing blokes (or women) wasn't why I got a
bike.. I got a bike because of the challenge and the experience.

Of course I can understand other people's reasons may differ :)

Still, I think a couple of "bikers are all tranvesites" would probably do
more for the anti-speeding lobby than any number of morbid, disturbing
    'valentines' cards and other shit.

I got a bike because I lived in a village with a shite bus service, and
they wouldn't let me drive a car at 16.

*Then* I found out it was fun.

I got a bike after seeing a 750 MV Augusta overtake my mum's Renault 6.

'course it took me a few years, I was only seven at the time. Led to the
    heady
heights of a Puch Maxi 'field bike' at the venerable age of fourteen.

If I was stupidly rich and had the kind of property to keep and look after
such a bike. I'd love to own a 750S America or similar.

I got a bike because there was only one bus to college and it left 15
mins before I finished my shift at work. I got the job because I
needed some money to pay for the bike.

Then it all goes a bit chicken/egg.

You'd be amazed how many bikers are transvestites. Seriously, there's
    lots.
