Why do they do it?

I thought it was about time I checked out Direct Access training locally and
had a look a local training centre.

Why, why, why do folk make sites like that?? Definitely won't be going
    there.

Probably done by a schoolkid for a project.

Personally I wouldn't judge the quality of their training by their
website, as long they have basic contact info, that would be enough for me.

Which reminds me. It looks like Dave Corden's disappeared off the map.
Anyone got another recommendation for similar - I'd like to get #1 son
on an intensive session, I'd probably tag along as well.

There are so many things wrong with that, and I haven't got anywhere
close to any pertinent information yet.

    1. Crap front page.
    2. Click to enter site. Why, FFS?
    3. Click to enter opens a new window - I'm using a tabbed browser TYVM.
    4. The new window just shows the same front page.
    5. Goto 1.

Of course the poor website might not be reflected in their training but I
feel that they're most certainly not doing their business any favours and
that rightly or wrongly, many folk *will* judge them by their site.

  12. Because they don't know better[1] and/or aren't prepared to pay the
money to have a proper web developer do it for them probably/because
they don't see the value in spending the money on a decent website.

[1] I wouldn't expect a Motorcycle Instructor to be able to build a
decent website, much like I wouldn't expect a web developer to be able
to give decent motorcycle riding instruction.
