why all the stink about supermotos...

    is supermoto the result of europe "discovering" TT-style racing?

    bah, i think most of us who had enduro bikes have put streettires on them on
    occasion. i did with a montesa cota 123 ages ago - changed the final
    toothing, street tires etc... it's one of those things many people had done
    before it was "invented"

    define tt. there are plenty of tt competitions, i just think the definition

    pablo invented it:
    There was no organized race though, as far as I know.
    The Superbikers was the first dirt/street motorcycle
    race on a purpose built course. There were GPs,
    run through the streets for part of the lap but really
    a desert race. There were enduros which used streets
    to connect up sections of the course But nothing that
    really followed the format of Supermoto, that I'm
    aware of.

    which is the equivalent of enduro in spanish, french and italian
