Whose taller, Vale or Edwards?

I was mildly shocked to discover that Rossi is 182cm tall.

I mean, I always figured he looked reasonably tall, obviously taller
than Biaggi and Capirossi. But he's also taller than Edwards (179cm)
and Bayliss (174cm). At 59kg quite a bit lighter than both, though.

I chatted to Adam Fergusson down at the Blade Blast recently and
remarked "aren't you a bit tall to be a racer?" - he's 180cm. Though a
solid 17kg heavier than Rossi.

Evidently it's not as relevant as I thought.

It was always assumed to be Kevin Magee and Rob McElnea's "problem". (And
Daryl Beattie in the 250s)
Handy for muscling a superbike around but a bummer in those slipstreaming &
braking duels......
