  9. Let me know, cos I'll have to ride[1] past yours to get there - see if
    we can co-ordinate for a hoon[5]

[1] assuming I have a working bike by then [2]
[2] otherwise I'll be driving if you want a cage lift [3]
[3] presuming I've bought the SOvectra from work by then [4]
    [4] otherwise, can I have a lift? :)
[5] for relative values of hoon

Heh, SWMBO has expressed an interest in attending also, which I am strongly
discouraging, so I will keep you posted.

I think we should cool it altogether, bikewise, meaning no more
Saturday stunts and a cool, calm and collected CIHAGM. We are invited
guests, not there as of right, and we risk not being asked back.

Sounds fair to me. I'd rather have an event that although less wild,
stands a better chance of being repeated. Drink, eat, drink, be
merry, drink, fall over, go for breakfast sort of thing.

Spontaneous stunts are always a bonus and a damn good giggle, but I
won't miss them awfully if they don't happen.

All in all rather like an English middle-class housing estate dinner party
    then.

I don't think Mike or Mu would quarrel with that.

Shit. I thought it was going to be like the scene in Mad Max when they
    descend on the town. Ho-hum.

You have to take it for what it is which is not in any way like a bike
rally. Most of UKRM would look a touch out of place in Mad Max so not
    surprising really.

It doesn't seem too outlandish however to suggest that Mike could be asked
to apply for a late license (02:00 springs to mind) and a geeetar playing
Minstrel or two in the big room after dinner would be fine and dandy. Snot
going to add more than a pound or three to the bill. Hmm? well?

Will you **** off? It will work perfectly well as it always has,
without you poking, prodding and making "suggestions". Go and
organise your own event if you're not happy with this one, by all
means - in fact, that might be your better alternative.
