Just watched a bloke do a very silly thing with an older model (but very clean and tidy looking, briefly) Fazer 600. He pulled out of a side road well ahead of me, from my right, intending to turn right, but overcooked it, ending up on the grass verge opposite. He then got back on to the tarmac, and damn near flipped the thing - seems he's a BAB, first time out in years and underestimated the power at hand; for reasons best known only to himself he'd pulled in the clutch then let it go. Oh dear. I helped him get the bike back up again, although despite having crash mushrooms on it there was serious damage to the bottom half of the generator cover. The people in the house/business immediately opposite the scene said they would keep the bike in their yard for him while he organised collection, I told him it shouldn't be ridden like that, even if it was possible. I felt sorry for him, he was mostly uninjured but his bike was buggered, and I think his wife was going to tear his bollocks off when he got home, where I took him once I was certain he was not in need of medical attention.
