Whooo and Hooo

  1. Just got a NIP through the post this sunny morning...

I was expecting one as about 3 weeks ago I spotted a white van on one of
the bridges over the M6 in Warks with it's side door open... And of
course I spotted it a bit too late - prolly peeled down to about 85 or
90 though, so thought I might have got away with it. :-(

After a couple of intravenous coffees and a couple of fags and a good
cough, read the NIP properly... It's not for the bike, but the Jag and
it's not from Warks finest, but the offence was committed on the M6 in
    Cumbria...

WTF? I've not been to Northshire for 3 years, and never in the Jag...
So I suppose I have to tell them I can't ID the driver, cos the car has
not been up there ever... What happens next? How can I prove it isn't
me? The time is for Sunday 7th September at 14:20 - I can't even prove
    I wasn't there then, cos I can't remember where I was...

    Bugger.

Or blame Bear, it seems to be the new ACPO guideline.

You didn't post to this ng between 09:09 and 18:17 that day, so that
doesn't help much - and you X-no archive so that doesn't help much
    either. Ho hum.

Bear fascinated us all by saying...
Northants IIRC, the biggest load of gobshite coppers known to man. How
they can stand there and deliver the 'speed kills' govt propoganda
bullshit with straight faces is beyond me. **** 'em, they deserve all the
    ridicule and vitriol they get.

Simon Atkinson was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
"Sorry, I was too drunk to remember where I've been" maybe not such a
    good defense, either...
