    Hey all,

Hope you're all getting the same superb weather we're having here in Sydney.
Far too good for working... so tomorrow I'm loading the 'Bird with panniers
(full of Lisa's shoes no doubt), a tankbag full of camera stuff and a wife
on the back (mine this time...) and we're heading southwards for 3 days.
Should be great weather I believe and we'll be doing the National Park,
Macq. Pass, roads around Cape Perpendicular and further south. Cambewarra
    Mtn, here we come!!

So if you see a black XX (is there any other colour??) with big silver Givi
panniers, 2 aboard wearing black leather suits (or jackets + jeans) and red
helmets with giant grins somewhere underneath, then say g'day (if ya can
    catch us...). :)

Keep it safe and have fun (without getting caught of course).

    Cheese,

  3. Pretty sure I saw you guys on Friday about 2pm, suiting up outside The
Old Cheese Factory building in Robertson. I was driving the white
camry wagon with passenger.. I pointed and swerved and stuff. :)

    Hey Big,

Thanks mate, we did have a safe trip and it's always great to get home in
one piece! Hope you had an equally good weekend with at least some riding!
This trip we didn't get as far down as Batemans but did get to do the Nat.
Park, up Macquarie Pass (no traffic.... amazing run of luck so far), K'roo
Valley and around Nowra. Today, we did the Nat. Pk again and as usual, had
some fun around the Kiama bends. There's something very cool about those
    bends!

I have to say, it still never ceases to amaze me: a. at the people in
ordinary cars (like WRXs etc.) who think they can take on a bike and b. how
damned quick our bike is, even stacked with both of us, panniers, topbox and
    tankbag.

    Yesterday I took the brother-in-law (6'7", 125kg footballer) for a blast up
Cambewarra Mtn. The bike certainly handled a bit differently to what I'm
used to but as for out and out acceleration, the XX amazed both of us -
especially Dave! hehe. I did a full 2nd gear throttle-on (at his request
of course... he's much bigger than me) and the thing launched, front wheel
almost on the ground and through to 3rd where it continued to pull like a
bastard. Big Dave almost wet himself I think! hehe

Anyway, nice to be home and (hopefully) with no tickets. :)

    Cheers,

    Hi mate,

You certainly did see us at the Old Cheese Factory. For some reason I
remember seeing a white Camry wagon pass by... hmmm. We often enjoy lunch
there after a run down from Sydney - great excuse to take the Pass!

Hope you had a good weekend in the region and hopefully at least some of it
on a bike - not all in the cage mate!

    Cheers,

Hmmm... shit, I hope not. I don't think there are any in the actual bends
(fingers crossed) but plenty either side of them.

Oh... not that we were above the limit or anything like that... :)
