I just went to the mailbox and found my refund for the over payment to Farmer's Insurance. After a comprehensive study, they found that even though my insurance rates tripled in two years from 0/yr to 00/yr on my homeowners policy with no claims...they refunded me a check of .18. This includes (as they put it) the amount of the over charge plus 10% simple interest. Whoo-hoo! Maybe with the gas prices going up the way they have, I can hurry to the gas station and fill the car up and still have enough left over to buy a cola. As I was leaving the gas station the other day, a woman was complaining about the amount of gas she was having to get. She was filling up a Suburban. The total on the pump was and climbing. I just laughed at her and told her to write a letter to Bush and tell him what a wonderful job she thinks he's doing with the energy policy of this country. I remember when the gas prices started rising like this and Clinton was President, he threatened to turn out oil from the reserve. The prices started falling immediately. I don't see this Administration doing that since they made such a stink of Clinton making the threat. Today I saw a political ad on TV where a "made up" nurse is complaining about insurance costs tripled on her and she's having to leave the medical field. Then Prick Perry gets into it saying that because of lawsuits, insurance costs are skyrocketing and we need to vote yes to prop. 12 which limits lawsuit recovery. Let's see, if the problem is with insurance costs tripling with doctors...then why not fix the insurance problem? Insurance costs also tripled for homeowners insurance, and there haven't been lawsuits resulting in big awards...other than the cost to fix the house. It would seem the problem is with insurance. Why doesn't Prick Perry address this? Amica sent me my renewal in the mail last month. They are doubling my current premiums, while cutting the amounts. My home is worth 0k and yet the maximum payout the policy allows is k...and that's only if the home is a total loss from a fire. And Prick Perry is worrying about whether I can recover more than 0k on a botched operation where a doctor sews a sponge inside or removes my leg when I went in for tonsils? A doctor in Houston was decapitated when an elevator door closed and the elevator went up. The facility says the doctor was legally intoxicated when it happened. WHO CARES?!? The elevator doesn't know when someone's been drinking or not. How does that matter whether he's been drinking? That's like saying "our elevator's know when you've been drinking and turn off the safety equipment just to show you that you shouldn't drink". Terrell Bolton has been fired from Dallas Police Chief. Good! He was on my TV earlier crying about how he's been fired for no reason and it harmed his reputation. I recall last year writing a letter to that jack-off about his officers getting people fired without cause and then harming their reputations. He didn't care then...and I don't care now. I hope the worthless bastard is having to sit at some warehouse doing guard work for awhile. I just wish the officers who has been known to get people fired from their jobs finds the same fate. In this one, it goes back to what my pastor told me about "vengence". He said God won't let me take vengence...but rather God will have it in his own time and place. Since my pastor is also a Deputy with Dallas and has had problems with the current Sherriff (Jim Bowles), maybe the High Sherriff will meet the same fate when the voters have their turn at him. I wish Larry Wilson of Garland would get his sorry ass fired and end the gestapo crap in that city. Whew! What a WEEK! They're calling for rain next week and after that, we should be seeing cooler temps. The riding should be alot better and I'll have to polish up the bike and start riding more regular again. Ok, where's the topic police to give me a ticket for posting this off-topic post? Vote for Bill Walker on Sept. 6th! Vote NO for prop 12! Vote for Danny Chandler for Dallas County Sherriff! Write letters to Bush to let him know what a good job he's doing on the energy policy! Write more letters to Garland City to encourage them to fire Larry Wilson! Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, where's that charter? :^)
