    Well, it is blindingly obvious - I'm just stunned that I'm looking 50
    years of age in the eyes and I've never seen this before - and it's so
    simple.

    Well, I'll grant you I've not either, but it still looked cumbersome,
    which is why, I suspect, you (or me) have not seen it.

    multiplication
