I sort of wonder whether it's an RGS rather than GPS effect: with all the
knobbly tyres and stuff, the bikes feel embarrassed about only being used on
tarmac and try to get a bit muddy at the slightest excuse...

 

I don't think so, as the GSX-R suffers from the same problem ;-)

I saw one at BVM a year or so ago that looked like it had been used on a
building site. Pretty rad looking tyres on it, took.
