"I'm sorry, I'm not answering right now as I'm avoiding someone.
Please leave a message after the tone and I'll get back to you, unless
you're the one I'm avoiding, in which case I won't."

I think it's somewhere in the middle ground - not being comp[letely
slagged off, as would happen if it were posted by rope or crn, but not
either being completely ignored like a des link would be.

I thought it was slightly cool, FWIW.

Does every one of those runs finish with a wrecked engine? Or don't bike
engines suffer from water ingestion the way heavier engines do? Or do
they cleverly hit the kill switch just before the air intake goes in?

I'm assuming they don't just leave all the bikes at the bottom if the
    lake....

I would have thought that too. Bent conrod at the very least.

But I wasn't going to say anything, just to annoy Krusty.

Don't think it's too much of a problem with a single cylinder engine as
it hasn't got the other cylinders forcing the piston up, so it just
stalls. I've drowned many a trail bike over the years without bending
    anything.

It would be simple to fit a ripcord kill switch like a jetski has

But the rider goes in, in most cases, along with the bike.
