But not if you happen to be an FZR250RR eh? ;)
Heh.. my Bandit has an excellent rev limiter, I sometimes use it for
    clearing cossings of peds quickly.
I used to rev the company Fiesta diesel until it wouldn't rev any more
in most gears, mainly coz I didn't like the van or the boss. Also,
starting it and warming it up by putting your foot flat on the floor was
    good.
To a point I'd think... it's a ballance between knocking the bottom end
out of an engine, and wearing out the top end quickly.

Hey! Don't get uppity! It used a very friendly method of cutting the spark
to drop the revs from over 20k, down to the 18,500 I was meant to be doing
it that time I was at Oulton... :)
Well yes, but the limit(er) is there for a reason. I don't feel any guilt
whatsoever on taking a modern design (so *not* the CG) to the limit as often
    as poss... :)

Heh.. it was all in good humour, the race FZR250s go up to about 21,000
    anyway.
I was talking to a friend, who tweaked up a CG125 engine a little. He
used to rev it to about 13,000.. After that it didn't make any more
power he said. I'm thinking of saking him what he did exactly, and
taking some notes for my CG. :)

I think this is a meds issue, actually. He personifies Mr. Mood Swing
    - unlike his brother, who is a stereotypical manic depressive.

I think they're both rabid racist homophobes who are frantically
denying their homosexuality whilst happily spit roasting their poor
old Mum when she comes in from a hard night of streetwalking though.

Reckon? I've got 40 years of acute and chronic Horizontal Surface
Syndrome behind me, and I'm not into top gear yet. Not to mention the
terrible affliction of Magpieness that doesn't only extend to shiny
    stuff.

Whilst I would welcome such a competition - and I have two
*greenhouses* full of lqt to use as a joker - I have to doff my cap to
the esteemed Col. Tupperware of this parish, who has STUFF in No
Trumps. What that **** ain't got just ain't ... well, what he /has/
    got ain't worth ...

I'll just go to bed, I think.

You hate someone on Usenet? You have waaay too much time and
    energy on your hands then.

Bear is a ****. Loud, sometimes obnoxious, full of himself and
sometimes self-deluded. He keeps grudges for some reason, and
gets fixated about certain things. He does go on a bit.
On the other hand he apparently has a good heart and
is willing to help people out when he can.

That said, I'm generally not a good judge of people, so I try
not to do it. If people will deal with me, I'll deal with them.
    End of story.

What settles it for me on the Bear question is that Windy
thought he was a good egg, and in my books she had damn
good judgement. I liked Windy very much, and I'm not going
to disagree with her, even now.

This belongs in a sig. With a proper sig sep. HTH. HAND. now FOAD.

He reminds me of a lodger I once had. Loved to troll,
and any reply he got was a point. ANY reply. He would
pretend any point of view, post in any style, just to
    get an angry reply.

So do us all a favour and ignore the fucker, would you?
Hell, you even agree that he adds nothing of any
consequence to any thread. I happen to agree with you
    on this one.
