Looks like you've taken the "post something interesting" suggestion to
    heart.

Much better than your last attempt.

    Sometimes UKRM and life collide.
I've snipped a couple of replies to this. They all boil down to,
sometimes life sucks, loads of shit happens at once, it all gets too
much. It happens to everyone at some point in some form.

With the fragmentation of tribe, clan, family and ultimately
individual; the old support systems fractured and work piecemeal if it
all. I think society is working out how to fulfil that role and
certainly the internet is a prime contender. I'm going to track down a
Guardian article from Friday that I missed on Google and the ultimate
    truth, but I digress.
And at this point you'd recognised you weren't happy about things. At
that point did you think about what you could do about it? I moved
away for a bloke then a couple of months later got dumped, grandfather
died, lost job and wrote off my car, all in less than a month. That
was nearly 20 years ago and I survived and back then I was a naive
rabbit caught in the headlights and didn't have half the self
awareness you've shown. I had to get myself through it, there not
even being the happy pills in their modern form. So I'm sure you'll
    work a way through this.

    snipped subjective point
Is there ever a good time to be dumped?
That's clear. But that's all happened and can't be changed. You now
get a clean sheet so when you make your next set of decisions you've
got more information to go on. Maybe you'll decide you miss family
support and go home, maybe you'll be swept off your feet by a knight
on a white horse, maybe you'll wander a little lost for a while. But
you and only you get to choose. You'll **** up again, we all do. Again
it boils down to, sometimes life sucks. Tell me exactly where it says
it doesn't? No one said it had to be nice. And quite frankly nice gets
    boring.

    snip subjective point
    It has its quirks.
There are different types of intellect. I can't recall what the poster
you refer to scored on an EQ test in a thread a while back.
But we all know so little about the vast range of things in the
universe if we applied that rule we'd never think, never change.

    I wish you a solution.

Oh, you heartless beast! The poor girl is laying her soul bare, and
telling us all what a **** Ogden is[1], and all you can do is take the
    piss. Poor show!

Welcome to UKRM, where talking about people behind their backs is a
speciality of some people in here, as is mind reading and being a
    phsyic (sp?)
I really wouldn't, just leave them to it, no one's listening :)
Oh dear, doesn't suprise me in the least. Sorry you didn't find someone
    better.

Perhaps best to move back to your family, get your old job back and be
happy again. Or be happy however you can?

    are you on crack?
Well, if you mean me (Emmar replied to me with the "supposed intellect"
comment, and I'm so vain etc....) then I can't remember either.
ah, you're not on crack, you're just an amateur sociologist.
