I think that a benefit for a volunteer fire department would fall into a
different category than a for-profit moneymaking advertisement. In any case,
this NG is unmoderated and there seems to be no FAQ detailing it's use or
restrictions, so post any spam you want.

And BTW, is this tammy or michael?

That website will also end up hosting info for a 2006 Texas Rally
similar to the ROT. We are in the motorcycle buisness, riding, selling,
fixing. I do have a coupe of online storefronts and a physical location
in Dallas but I don't need to pimp them in the newsgroups they do fine
already. Believe it or not alot of retailers do give back to the riding
    community.

  6. It's fine Sunny I didn't come here to start anything or really promote the
event. I think the event will have plenty of people. I just thought it
would be something yall may be interested in. It's funny people seem to
think they are elite because they post on "newsgroups" Then others suffer
from one complex or another. I hope you make it and I hope you enjoy.

'Scuse... I don't think the content of this post could be defined as "spam"
or all that objectionable to anyone.. The main problem, I think.. is the one
who posted it.. hmmm... I've been through Whitewright several times and it
is a laid back little place with a good Dairy Queen.. LOL.. Who knows.. I
just may be coming back through and stop again... Take care Mike..

LMAO.. you do that.. hmmm.. Some of us have had the misfortune to see you
work in person, though... Better get yourself a "ghost artist" or whatever
    it takes..

Tammy, "motorcycle events" are not spam and are allowed.
Now if you were just promoting a website and trying to make a profit off of
it, or a product, that would be considered spam.

Personally, I didn't see you post as being spam. It looks like it might be
    worth going to see.

Don't misunderstand me.. I'm not one of Morgan Kane's favorite people and
Morgan Kane is not one of mine..but I'll say that Morgan Kane has a head
full of sense and a world of class.. for what that's worth..

The post might have better received, except for the messenger that posted
    it.. FWIW...

I've been participating on this group for several years .. Seen a lot of
good and bad, come and go.. Don't judge the group for one little episode..
There is certainly good reason for it.. considering.. I live in Irving and
ride quite a bit, since I'm retired.. See you around Whitewright most any
    time.. Take care..

Like I said, I didn't see it as spam. I guess some others might but this IS
a motorcycle NG and I thought it was appropriate, as I assumed you were
promoting the event and not the website itself. My 2 cents.

Thanks. I'm kinda into art and motorcycle art at that. It looks like an
    interesting event.
Maybe I'll "spam" the NG with some of my work, one of these days. ;)

    websites in their long signatures?
Am I wrong? Ain't that uh, promoting situation? of sorts? kinda?

Thanks Wayne. Poker runs may not be everyone's idea of a good time but
there are some that enjoy that type of event. :)

    Have a great day,
