    Hello

I've been given a new can of white lithium grease - Gooleman says 'use it
for metal on metal contact'. No mention of rotting O-rings. Anyone know if
it can be used on O-ring chains safely?

given that most joints lubricated by grease have a rubber seal what do you
    think?

I'd be more concerned about the grease picking up general detritus and
forming a nice grinding paste between the rollers & plates. The best lube
for a chain is an oil that flings off, taking grit with it. Hence the
effectiveness of the Scottoiler in prolonging chain life.
