Whiskery old chestnut - running in - advice sought

  1. Yabut the nice thing about a Unifilter is when it gets dirty, no need
to chuck it in the bin and head off to the spare parts counter. Just
wash it out, re oil it and it's as good as new.

When a filter gets dirty it's time to sell the bike and get another one.

Clearly you don't/didn't have any oil in the Bonnie then; mine was capable
of leaking oil without ever having been started after (one of several)
engine rebuilds until I discovered Blue Maxx from Loctite.

    Cheers

Nine and a half years and no oil leaked at all. I luv my Hinckley pig.

    That's 'Meriden', BTW.

They had to cross a few Meridians to get here. And a Tropic or two.
