Which dress on the bike?

    Maybe stupid question, but...
i just got my first real bike - until now i've had Yamaha Majesty 250
scooter, now i bought Yamaha's FZ6 Fazer. I wonder, since you guys have many
experiences with riding such things - now i have jacket, made of cordura
material - should i get only pants or should i buy whole new leather dress
(you know, pants and jacket together)? This cordura jacket is not quite
wind-proof, but on the other hand, it's not so warm when i wear it (i
wonder, what will happend when the rain get me...).
    Any opinions, please... Thanks!

Someone has to say it, but you shouldn't really wear a dress on a bike, the
wind will play havoc with your bits. I suppose a leather dress would give
    some protection?

  4. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "SleeperMan"
A slinky little black cocktail number.... in leather.

    Yumm.

    Stonge typed:
I already experienced that; that's why i'm thinking of leather - since it
usually doesn't flap around the body...and it's windstopper.
It's expensive, though...but, riding a bike is expensive, right? I new that
before i bought it, so, there's nothing that can be done here.

I've worn a stretch denim skirt a few times and sometimes some leather
shorts. If your skirt is too tight your bum shows. I haven't actually
    worn a dress though.

A leather dress doesn't qork. Trust me on this.

  14. The options for protective textile clothing are opening up.

EN 13595 Level 1: Weise "Avance" 2-piece suit from Fowlers of Bristol
    Limited
EN 13595 Level 2: Scott Leathers "New Road" and "Road Airflow" jackets
(as about to be issued to Met Police motorcycle sections)
EN 13595 level 2 or 3: the advanced suit I have mentioned in this
forum several times in the past, which is being launched at Intermot
in Septemnber (currently on trial with six UK police forces)

    More are under development.

It's all relative, when I tried to position my post at the top I
couldn't determine its precise location and the harder I tried the
less accurate it got so I put it at the bottom.
