I would say he is worth a lot more than you.

So if he proves who he is and his real name you will honour his
    anonimity! WTF!?!?!
All I get from that is you are still full of it and yourself.

Though you have not and ONCE AGAIN we have this clear admission from you
of doubt, but this does not shut you up.
    Class.

    Are you in love again!

No way. That's a direct, unedited quote. You said every word quote
    above.
Well, then you must have told a porky. The archives do not lie.
Again, I quoted straight from the archives. That is an unedited
    quote. Another porky?
Well, since you deny having been part of AATTV (who arrived later and
are historically the first Australian troops to serve in Vietnam), you
might like to correct Australia's military history by telling us which
unit you served with in SVN and how come there's no record of any RAE
personnel serving in SVN in March 1962.

Or is that another one of your porkies?

what if they brought it upand they're being coaugh out telling
porkies? Would it be OK then?

And don't give me your crap about "off topic". there's heaps of off
topic shit gets posed here. Discussion abou miliary service is not
verboten is it? After all, you troeed to peddle a whole pack of
erroneous information about MY miliary service no so long ago...
I do, Nev. Most veterans would get very peeved if someone was making
false claims about heir war service.
Nothing about Frost's claims adds up so far. I just wan him to fess
up or provide verifiable details about the mob he claims to have
served within SVN in march 1962.

If you don't like, or are bored with, what's being discussed in a
thread, nev, set your newsreader to ignore that thread. Simple.

You claim there were no Serongs on Vietnam. This is a great
justification to attack someone even though the commanding officer of
the AATTV was Colonel F.P. Serong (1962-1965).

1957 South Vietnam's President Ngo Dinh Diem visits Australia and
Australia's Prime Minister, Robert Menzies reaffirms support... though
you claim we did nothing until 1962.

Defence forces would never enter a country prior to an official
    announcement.

    It is all so simple!

    Now who shot JFK?

    English comprehension problem #1.
I asked why GWD would care, not whether or not it was a valid discussion
or if it was ok if it was porkies.
    English comprehension problem #2.
I didn't say anything about off topic posting. I asked why
motorcyclists would care about military records. That's primary school
English class stuff you're struggling with.
I peddled nothing. I just linked to something with someone else had
posted on a website. I am not responsible for the validity of
everything on the internet. If you have an issue with something false
which someone has posted about you on the internet, then you should
address that with the author, not with me.
    English comprehension problem #3.
We know you do, Gerry. But (Grade 4 English comprehension stuff again),
I was directing my comments to GWD, not you.
Yes I'm sure they would. This is not aus.veterans, therefore, the vast
majority here, do not give a fvck.
Nobody cares. Nobody cares. If you think people care, go to google
groups, start your own group for all of the people who care, and discuss
it there, to your hearts content.
It would be simple, except you turn every thread into a thread about
GWFs war record. Its boring, tedious, and nobody cares.

Interesting how you respond to posts directed to GWD and he responds to
posts directed to you. Which is the master and which is the puppet ?

Maybe it's the recent brain surgery, but Ah Doan Geddit!
    Care to explain?
I don't, and it surprises me that you think I do. But as an
ex-serviceman with service over the period in question, I have to say
I understand the point about imposters and the damage they do. I won't
bore you with the details unless you want me to but it should be
sufficient to remind you of the trouble that Vietnam Vets had (and
still have) with assimilating back into a society that rejected them.
Imposters do not help, that ought to be self evident.
Nothing here is as simplistic as it first appears.
Why thank you sir, most generous of you :)

  12. Okay smart-arse, maybe it wasn't exactly the Great Victorian Bike Ride,
Maybe I should have been more precise for you, ( seeing you are an import
who doesn't really understand local speech. )
    Was,
My son has been on a few Great Victorian Bike Ride
He has also been on a bike ride with a group from Victoria, who all went
across the Indian Ocean to South Africa for a push bike ride around
    Johannesburg.
An addition to that, would have read that the bikes they rode there, didn't
come back with them, but were left there for the local ferals

Well, my dear boy, you see, I'm under the apprehension that the AATTV
were the only troops we had in SVN in 1962. Are the historians wrong
    again?
Well, given your denial that you were part of the AATTV, I did a
search for any RAE dudes who might have secretly snuck into Vietnam to
build bridges (beats me why that would have been classified), but in
any case, George, I've been unable to find anything on the interweb
    about it.

Care to set the historians straight George? Seems they've fucked up
again. They forgot about you and your bridge building mates. This
    has to be put right!!!

Should I write to the RAE Vietnam Association, or will you, George?
Yes George, the historians were wrong, and I wrote to those sites and
all bar the nasho site have fixed their errors.

And now it seems the historians are wrong again. This time, for not
listing you and your sapper mates who were in Vietnam in March 1962.

Or am I so stupid I can't get Google to find the info for me?

Care to help me out here, Geroge? Nev? WTF77? Anybody?

I'd be quite happy to admit I was wrong and apologise to you, George,
but I need to see some believable proof first, George.

    Shot over !!!

George, m'boy... You've gone remarkably quiet again... I wonder why
    that is...

Anyhow, You'll be pleased to know that I've been in touch with the RAE
SVN Association, and one of their spokespersons has replied:

"To the best of my knowledge no engineers went to SVN until 1965 and
    that was 3 Field Troop."

So George, your story keeps falling over. I reckon you're an
imposter. You were never in Vietnam at all, were you? You're a
wannabe and a liar, aren't you?

Can you give me ANY info which checks out? So far nothing you've said
    makes any sense at all.

    Waiting... :)

  19. Gerry, you can wait till the cows come home
I don't give a rats arse of your opinion of me
I do not wish to be a "friend" of yours
you are a fuckwit and a wannabee hero,
supposedly giving up any recognition of your involvement with the Services,
then later on claiming you were hard done by and "war is not right".
Gerry, if you are in a job, if you don't like the work practices,
you get out and find something else more pleasing to your ratbag ideas.

    your statement of :

The second paragraph is the one you should be looking at Gerry.

"to the best of my knowledge" are the words you should be looking at too
There are lots of things even you too, do not know Gerry

I am also very pleased to know you have taken the trouble to do a check on
    me
    Tell me Gerry,
Do you have some sort of a fantasy fixation with me ?

If so, then that would be the main reason that I would not wish to be a
    friend of yours.
Sorry Gerry, I am strictly heterosexual

    true to no man,

but give me a woman any day.
