I've been kinda "out of commission" for a few days (weeks) and still playing
    catch up on the newsgroup..

Noticeably .. Bjay is not posting per usual.. Looks like he's come out of
the surgery in pretty good shape.. That's good.. Congrats Bjay.

Seems like the IceMan and JailCall are being absent.. That's not
tolerable..Both these guys are good contributors to this newsgroup and I'd
like to see them posting regularly.. LOL.. Bottom line is, "I miss them"..

Waco is offline and I'm wondering if he is off on another of his fantastic
runs.. (he's determined to wear out that Springer, before he gives it to
    me)..

Beemer Biker isn't posting like he normally does, and I'm thinking that he
may be pre-occupied with the elections.. I've seen a few short posts by him,
but nothing like his usual contributions.. What's up, there.. Beemer ?

I'm sure that there are others who I haven't mentioned and they'll come to
    mind, later..

Everyone may be at the polls, but.. I have gotten the impression that most
have voted early or absentee.. I'll venture out and cast my ballot, just a
    bit later.. today..

This weather is sure nasty for Election Day, and I hope that it doesn't
prevent anyone from doing their duty..

Have a good one and be sure to vote..

    McGovern.

Hopefully we'll know who it's going to, by this time tomorrow..

Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with that project.. I've got an
idea.. turn the whole thing over to the little lady and her kinfolks.. Go
ride that motorcycle while they are doing it.. When they finally hit the
proverbial brick wall, you've got 'em.. LOL..Good luck..

  3. BW, I know what your'e saying, one misses some of those Gents, who I
call regulars, when ya don't see much of their "typing". This is my
first NG, and I really look forWard every day about 3pm, to come in here
to argue with someone, or to compliment another, all-in-all, it's a
bunch of nice fellers in here. I, like you, know ther's a couple who
havent "typed" much lately.....can't remember who, but do know they're
    missing..."ya'll come back, ya here!"

I've been here, lurking. I just haven't had much to say. I got to Hawaii a
couple of weeks ago, rented a bike and rode around Oahu. You can imagine
what the weather and scenery was like. It's like that all year in Honolulu.
Anyway, that finished up my tour. Hit all 50 states (and 11 Canadian
    provinces) this year.

to do it.. Appreciated your sharing it, also..

Yep, but did you go *clockwise* or *counterclockwise*? And has your
    memory improved?

Nancy led and we went clockwise. I guess she wasn't feeling very antisocial.
Unfortunately the roads were for the most part straight and flat, with too
much traffic. With so few roads I guess that's to be expected. I look
forward to going back and hitting Maui or the big island for some twisties.
The Road to Hana has been recommended to me.

And my memory is still hazy, although I do seem to have kept my kidneys.

Gosh dern, buddy, that's incredible! I've read a spot or two in here,
that you were out on a bike trip here and there...but, guy, you probably
    hold the record "of the
most" Bike Riding Rascal, Ive ever known. A-L-L 50 S-T-A-T-E-S ???? did
    I read a mis-type? I guess, my foreMost question, would be....How one
can afford the time and money to do that in such a short time span? ( a
Year) I Am impressed.......wheee......You gotta be some kind of CEO of
    something....(grin)

I'm no CEO, but I *do* take my butler with me on my rides. JK
I credit the power of cigarettes and espresso with getting me an extra
    couple hundred miles a day.
My longest day has been 1375 miles. After your butt goes numb it doesn't
    bother you any more.
And during a long weekend (I took many) you have up to 96 hrs to get
somewhere, just be sure to turn around before 48 hrs.

Keep an eye on the other group, Nancy keeps threatening to host an IRL
including a trip over to ride on the Big Island.

The kidneys thing is a good thing, the hazy memory can be a good thing at
    times.

just kept wondering about that dude.. now we all know..
    Gucci.. Gucci... Tole' ya'....
That is definitely a long day..
Nothing but admiration from this corner, ol' buddy.. You've definitely made
some barn burners.. That's a lot of country..

Good to hear that all that tour is finally finished.. I've been worried that
you would wear that Springer plumb out before I could get my hands on it..
    Regards Waco..
