Where's the frame number?

  1. On a Yamaha CW50 NG....

    Anyone know?

If it's on the headstock, I asume some panel removal will be needed to
    access it.

"Where is my Yamaha motorcycle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
    located?

On Yamaha motorcycles it is located on the right-hand side of the frame
    steering stem.
On scooters it may be located under a removable cover or stamped on a metal
plate fixed to a frame member.

Please refer to your Owner's Manual for exact location."

  6. In other words: "We haven't a clue. Strip off every square inch of
    bodywork."
