I could understand the problem if he was living at your house - but this
is Usenet - just don't answer him if you feel it's gone on long enough.

Wel, I really don't want to talk ill of the dead, so to speak, but as
another current poster to this newsgroup is showing, it's possible for
one person to ruin the "newsgroup experience" for another. It did get
to the point that as soon as Anne posted anything she was attacked.

No, but I'm running a sweepstake on how long your malice towards him
will continue. My, you're a bitter man.

What? Petrolcan fell over and his perception made him think it was the
    bike that was toppling?

No, he walked over to his bike, and (I think) decided as the world was
swaying that sitting on a sensible BMW may help, somehow he then threw
the bike on the floor, and was left standing there looking gormless
    wondering what hads just happened.

It was then that the realisation of how drunk he was set in and he said
something like "Fush ish, I'm pished aren't i?"

Heh. I are not an engineer, but I do play one on the internet.

And play at being one of an evening.

Tch! I'm not. That's some grubby little American institution that will
let anyone join if they're willing to pay. The IEE is completely
    different.

Er... dunno why I bothered setting the mode in the first place, that
    went without saying, didn't it.
