YZF1000R Turderace of mine needs a left handlebar. Left footpeg already came
from ebay.co.uk a few years ago, but there seems to be nothing available at
    the moment.

Can someone point me to some place (breaker, whatever), please? TIA.

They're getting thinner on the ground, but the odd one does come up
    being broken on Ebay.

    Keep yer eyes peeled.

Have you tried one of those online breakerline quote services, they're
worth doing the free option that send the request to 10 or 15 breakers
    for free ..

This will be UK based though, but you might find a friendly UKRM'er
that'll pick up for you or a package forward.

Don't you have a more local bike breaker ?

    Paul.

Has worked for me in the past, and other ukrm denizens too, I think.

Probably, but I've ordered more stuff from the UK than local. Not to mention
my addiction to some Hong Kong based stores of other type of stuff :)

Google can give the URL, but not the sentence I was waiting for, thanks
    (thanks to Zymurgy too)

  6. I buy a lot of stuff from the UK because everything's so expensive over
here. It's usually worth paying the carriage. Just wish I could buy leccy/
    adsl etc. from there.

    Mind you, the beer's cheap.

Yes, that's what i'm thinking to do.
But i need a big box and not every company will accept it.
I'm having a look at this site:
    https://www.parcel2go.com/
I'd just like some more suggestions. Probably he has done this before.

So stick the bicycle on the back of the motorbike. Should be easy
enough if you take the wheels off. I know a guy who carries his MTB on
the back of his Tiger regularly.

I'll do that in case i don't find a proper box. But the bycicle would be
a little bit big for a trip of around 1000 miles + luggage + ferry.
Just in case of emergency... :)

I've been away for a while, so maybe missed it, but I haven't seen a
"hamfisted dago **** crashed" post. Details, hombre, details.

So fit a decent sized topbox and swing the pushbike off davits fixed to
the box, in the manner of a lifeboat on a cruise ship.

It is an old story. It was a light crash that happened... back in 2000! Then
I changed the left footpeg and thought everything was OK. Recently I
replaced the windshield with a taller one and noticed that at the top of the
new windshield I could see the inner right side *but* the outer left side.
My body was placed slightly to the left, and the reason was the slight bend
of the handlebar. This wasn't noticed riding in sports mode, where body was
constantly being moved, but in touring long runs it caused pain in the left
leg groin after 2 to 3 hours. That was the part of the body doing the extra
effort to support the strange riding position. Pretty stupid actually, but a
nice case for the ergonomy nazis :)
