My understanding of bike auctions is they are markedly different to car
auctions.

Car auctions are method for passing a wide range of used cars down the
dealer food chain. Unlike bike auctions which seem to be solely a
dumping ground for lower end bike dealers to get shot of the part-exs
they can't shift normally.

 

By and large, yes. You can get loucky.

But all you know for sure is that the bike starts (or not) and can be
ridden in first gear past the block.
