  1. Quote of the program from Steve Parrish in response to "What would Barry
Sheene have made of all the publicists and lawyers who surround the
    sports stars these days?"

"Well, he'd definitely be shagging their secretaries."

Good, it was. We'll not see their like again.

  4. Lovely. And James Hunt would have been having sloppy seconds.

The thing that got me was just how broken he looked at Daytona.

Every limb was pointing in the wrong direction.

Excellent it was too. The summer of 76, who can forget that, except
those not even born then obviously. Good to see George Harrison as well.

Though her mouth didn't move much when she spoke.....

WTF he got married escapes me entirely mind.

100 extra points to Hunt for dipping it into the Japanese girls though.

This. It strikes me that she has confused the meanings of tanned and
tanning. Her face appeared to have the look of velum which has been
stained with teabags and saffron. Ewww.

Isn't Sheene regarded as the one who invented back protectors? First one
made from a bunch of visors strung together to allow them to flex in one
direction, but not the other, apparently.

That's as good a word as any other I've heard to describe her. I think she
looked fucking awful, but then again, I think that McElhorne woman looks
    awful too.
