Point of order: they were probably Polizia Stradale. Beating people up is
    the job of the Carabinieri.

  11. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Colin Irvine
    Fantastic.

And all the better for knowing that if it was ever tried at an *OSM some
twat would decide to loft one right in the middle and the resulting
carnage would keep the NHS busy for a month.

Nearly a month ago. Monz saw it last week - he was surprised how small
    it was.

Lovely, despite the dent. Actually, cancel that: I've come to the
conclusion that I'm not the kind of person who has the patience to
keep a bike pristine, so sound but ' cosmetically challenged' bikes
    are just /me/.

    Pity the cylinder's hidden though.

    There's a dent?

I know the thing's ugly, but it ain't injured (yet)
Must be a trick of the light - the tank is a strange shape

Indeed. I would rather fancy an exposed flywheel too, but I'm too much of a
coward to let my leg get near something spinning that fast.

Must be. It looked like the tank had been beaten back out just below
    the 'knee cutout'.
