wheel noise

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Brooke & Tony, Jul 27, 2003.

  1. Hi i have a 600 honda hornet and recently I have noticed a noise coming from
the front wheel. It sounds like the one of the brake pads is rubbing but I
have checked this out and the brakes seem fine and there is no scratches on
    the disc.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the cause.

    Thanks in advance.

    Tony.

is it a scrapping scratching noise or another type of noise? like a squeeky
    sort of a noise?

Just keep the wheel of the ground - nice and quiet that way.
Or for an equally illogical suggestion, remove all brake assembly and see if
the noise stops. (Hint, stop screaming to check noise)
