Here's a thing that sometimes works and it a bit easier to do now

Go tot he chemists and get some of that Cryogenic freezing wart
removing spray, it's bloody cold stuff so watch out for it.

Heat up the wheel bearing holder with a blow torch and when its VERY
hot, then spray the bearing race with the wart spray.

The logic behind this should be obvious so I wont go into that

Heh. Bloke's just moved in three doors up. He's installing an inspection
pit in his garage for his classic cars.

    We have an arrangement. :^)

Your occasional moments of lucidity border on genius.

Have you ever been told that?

Hmm. Anyway, today I have been mostly recomponenting the Evil Twin. If
I've got all the electricals in the right places, it may even be running in
    a day or two.

Considering it's been in dry-dock for a year and a half, it's about time.
I'll put a couple of hundred miles on it to be sure it's working, then send
the heads off to have the valves done. Then I'll thrash the tits off it all
    winter.

I want a flypress if you're going to sell one to make room.

If you're not where can I get one cheaply?

It'll be more cost effective to go to plumber's merchants and get the
    pipe freezing spray.

I'm not. I *think* hydraulic ones are more controllable, but I base this
    on pure speculation.
Keep an eye on auction places that deal with closing engineering firms.
There's no shortage, unfortunately. They come up on Ebay reasonably
    often as well.

I just watch my local places. They usually advertise in the local

Not sure the costs of that stuff, but possibly worth knowing the price if
    you know it.

  20. Maplins do it for 5.99 or so (can't be arsed looking right now). Search
    for 'freezer spray' at Maplins.
