Between an official UK bike and a Euro spec bike. Same model
    obviously.

They're usually cheaper right? and official dealers won't service them
is that right? Are they restricted?

    Er...thanks.

Only thing I'd add is: BMW dealers in the UK are very happy to service
bikes sourced from overseas. They manage to sell virtually all the bikes
that BMW allocates them [1]and do not view parallel sales as competition.
Any extra bikes that come over as parallel/personal imports are additional
revenue earners in terms of service & spares.

No they don't[1]. My B2 has some Mph stickers on the speedo and I put
some tape over the headlight. I sailed through its MOT last weekend.

[1] OK, if you want to sell it, it can make life easier but you don't
    *have* to.
