Mt brother has decided to sell his XL500 and we're trying to put a price
on it. It's a 1983 Italian import, first UK registration 1996 and MOT'd
until August. The clocks were changed to MPH before he got it so the
mileage can't be verified. He's done a pretty thorough restoration as
can be seen from the pics

Any thoughts on a reasonable asking price?

  3. ****, that's nice. And a disc front end - the early UK spec model made
    do with a shitty drum.

I'd say £1300, all day long.

    I don't think that's original but it's a reasonable mod.
He's now suggesting a swap for my SV and I'm very tempted indeed.
