    Until the age of 12 I was in the country and used a horse.

    The only horses I had around at that age were plough horses and I would have
    needed a very large ladder to get on them, and a flying fox to get off.

    My brother and I rode together he gave me a boost to get up and I assisted
    in pulling him up once on.

    Getting off was not a problem, many times it occurred by accident.

    I had bikes for 5 yrs before I got my first car.

    But these days, with the amount of fuckwit kids in 400kw skylines with
    no driving skills to match, its probably not a bad idea to have a few
    mths up ya sleeve in a cage.
