What would you do?

Don't I bloody wish!!!!!

Hey, was talking to my agent today about the right way to go about
presenting a picture book to a publisher (coz unless the author is also the
illustrator, the publisher usually finds an illustrator to fit....) and she
reckoned I should do a mock-up.... you wanna be a model for one of the
characters, Gerry??? Do you have an interesting face? Send me a pic!

Yeah, couple of mates did that ride a few months back (on BMW GS's) - was
apparently a little rough <grin>. Definitely not something for me and my
roadbike to try, especially given the fact I was terrified on the very
reasonable unsealed road to Funkytown for the Unaugural!

See previous - send me a pic, hee hee, and one of the characters could be
modelled on you..... if I can sell this idea to my agent and she can sell it
to a publisher, there will be a whole series of these picture books... wow,
maybe I could become a for-real full-on writer, instead of trying to squeeze
it into the gaps (what bloody gaps?) in my life! How brilliant would that
be???
