More than that mate. I've ridden one and loved it. Either the GT or the GTL
will be my next bike, but gotta find the $$.

    Cheers,
    Dale.

If money was no object and i could chose any bike I want, I'd probably go

Many modern cruisers are single seat or a seat pad a 7yr old would
barely feel comfortable on - god only knows why. Some have a decent
    pillion seat.
Probably talk to theo for a first hand account but from my perspective
its one of the few cruisers i'd buy - they have great brakes, they
have good engines and they handle - stop go and corner - the three
things you don't expect from a HD...

Aitkens still has the demo T with Breva bags and topbox. bet you could drive
a good deal, been on their hands for a while.

  9. Tell him to buy an ST3 along with a can of Bell Ray chain lube, the non
flinging off stuff. If yor're real nice to him he just might let you have a
little ride on it now and then You could wear a full face with a tinted
visor along with a new Ducati Performace jacket and no one could tell it was
you. Go on you know you want too.

I don't see what the bother is. If he just don't oil the chain and
replace chain/sprockets every other service to keep them relatively
fresh. Might make a bit of noise, and cost a few hp, but it sure would
expand the range of bikes to choose from.

  11. Ah yes spot on Nev and, percentage wise, a new chain and sprockets at say
every 2nd service would not make a lot of difference to the overall
    servicing costs of an ST3
