I was born in the early forties, you were born after 1945. That makes
you a boomer and me a pre-boomer. Those three years are where the
generational border exists. George is of course a neanderthal and
Johnno is really really old.

I didn't... but I do remember the NHLRO protest group (and others both
before and after) that tried to get the law changed back and lobbied for
exemptions for years afterwards.

With regard to the context of the debate (which he studiously
avoided), that mere quibbling. A generation, for general purposes,
is a period of about 25 years. The exact start/finish boundaries for
a given "generation" has to do with which wat we want to cut and dice
history.

Since he, you and I were all within an age group which was clearly a
white supremacist age group i.e. and age group which had no trouble at
all in osmoting white supremacist ideas in our childhoods, it's fair
to say that within that context, we were in the same age group.

Of course, George just used all of that obfiscation in order to avoid
the real subject i.e. our white supremacist cultural influences and
where you can use that as an excuse for remaining that way. THAT's
the conversation he doesn't want to have. So he keeps quibbling
about where to cut and dice history, but it'a all just one big con.
