I think the 1.5 multiplier is too low anyway - a mass-market six
cylinder litre bike was really something special.

Yes, I think that would do it, so for something you consider to be
boring and run of the mill you could mark it down to .75, say, giving
a twenty-year requirement for 'classic' status. Sounds about right.

Were they making them ten years ago? No, so it;s a bit of a moot point
really.
