Well I finally got my bike back today. The store people where actually nice
to me today. This was a bit of a shock but good to see that they have
    turned their attitude around

Anyway after the swap from the BT010 to the BT012 I must say the handling
and stability of the bike has improved 100%. I noticed the difference from
the word go. I went around the same corner I came off at at around 35kmh
(Hairpin) which is 10kmh quick than I came off. Not even a squiggly or a
    bit of movement.

Take this as you may but I think its a very very Bad idea to mix tyres. I
know some of you guys do it quite often but for me it has been a very bad
experience. Until your have tried match tyres then no matched you won't know
how much a difference it really makes. The bike seemed to lean over far
more aggressively with the mismatch tyres (Could have been the BT010
    profile)

Anyway I'm happy again. The bike looks good and I've finally got the tyres
    I'd asked for

Nice work Bob. Glad you forced the issue and got the right tyre you asked
for. The BT012 (especially the front) is very much worth it as you've
    already found out. Enjoy!

Glad you're happy with your new tyres. Just remember to watch out when
crossing painted lines on the roads. A chemical reaction between the BT012
rubber compound and the road paint is well known for making the tyre rotation
speed decrease so you might need to give it a bit of extra throttle each time
you cross a line. A quick google should be able to shed a bit more light on
    the matter.

I find that richening up the jetting counteracts this, although you'll
have to lean out the rear cylinder to maintain phlogistic balance.

  5. Don't forget that if you change the jetting, you'll need to compensate for
    the resulting change in gearing.

  6. Will I need to adjust me computer's clock to make it appear acceptable too?
