    Hi,

The bike currently has an ermax flip-up screen fitted (not by me). I
suspect all it's doing is creating a lot of windnoise and
turbulence - can anyone confirm if this is likely? I'm not too
bothered about looks but I would like to get the noise down a bit.
Any suggestions what to try instead (standard, double bubble,
taller)? For info I'm not particulaly tall (5'8'').

    Thanks

    Jim

    Jim Ingram says...
I had a standard screen on my second ZZR1100 and found the Ermax flip
screen on my third one to be far better than stock. My second one also
had a Powerbronze flip screen IIRC, which was also good once I'd fitted
    it. I'm 5ft 8 tall too.

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like, if anything, a DB could be worth
trying. Out of interest what make is yours?

    Cheers

I've got a Powerbronze (IIRC) DB on mine, and I'm happy with it.

If you want to try a standard screen, I've got a complete-but-scruffy
one you can have if you can get it collected from North Herts.
