  6. Live in it.
    That is offputting - I'd have bid 20k but for that.

  7. My Dad always reckoned Vauxhalls were shite - he wouldn't be seen dead
    in one, but spent the latter part of his life buying Opels (A big fan
    of the Commodore he was).
    And the true Land-Rover afficionado...
    <thinks>

    Feck off.

  10. My Dad died in 1989 - a modern Vauxhall to him was the Cresta or Victor
    101... Odly he loved some of the Fords of his era - The Zephyr6 (with
    front bench seat).

    Remember, they come from Land-Rover leaking oil (and non-weather proof)
    and rattling. Anything that's done to them by subsequent owners merely
    makes them better. Remember my philosphy is that you'd have to be mad
    to buy an LR product less than 10 years old - you have to let the first
    3 or 4 owners have time to iron out the bugs.
    What's with all the smileys? Have you been upsetting the gentle souls
    round here with your ascerbic wit?

    And when you say "no fancy suspension", does that include the forks (which
    look very much like they have suspension)?
