What Master Cylinder is this ?

not sure if it came of my Z650 or not, but I can't remember it having
a brake light switch.

Anyone have any ideas what make bike it's from.

That looks like a Kawasaki lever, so probably an early Z650, with a
single front disc.

I think I agree.

I definitely recall that my Z650 didn't have a brake light switch
built into the master cylinder - instead it had a pressure sensitive
union bolted into the line, mounted on the bottom yoke (I think).

 

That's what's confusing me. It looks like a Z650 B1 cylinder but this
one had a built in switch.

The switch on the yoke sounds right. Bit like a hose splitter for the
dual brake type.

I'll stick it on EBay as a z650/z900/z1000 cylinder then with no model
number.
