What makes a helmet worth £450 ?

    It's quite common in downhill mountain biking and road cycling. IN
    the downhill suspension technology is really important so riders will
    buy the best shocks and re-badge them to their sponsor.

    In road cycling, for years Campagnolo made better stuff than Shimano,
    so the Shimano sponsored riders would use de-badged Campag kit.

    And latterly, vice-versa.

    But which standard? The ACLU Gold stickers scheme is a total joke. I wasn't
    aware that flip front lids were allowed on tracks, as those places were
    reserved for gold ACLU stickered helmets. My Caberg has such a gold sticker
    and it has a flip front too.
    Yeah, just above the loud pipes.
